The Jerusalem Governorate warned of the large-scale incursions carried out by settler groups into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque during what they call the "Jewish holidays," under heavy protection from Israeli occupation police and with the participation of ministers and Knesset members from the far-right party.

In a statement, the governorate confirmed that what happened over the past two days—more than 1,000 settlers storming the mosque yesterday and 1,300 more during the morning hours of today—constitutes a dangerous and systematic escalation within a Judaization plan aimed at altering the historical and legal status quo of the mosque and imposing a new religious reality by force of arms and racism.

The Jerusalem Governorate pointed out that the continuation of these aggressive practices could ignite the entire region in an open religious war, due to the silence of the international community and the failure of international institutions to restrain the occupation.
