The movements Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front announced their rejection of any guardianship over Gaza, affirming that the administration of the Strip is a purely internal Palestinian matter.

The three movements called on countries and Washington to ensure that the occupation complies with the agreements.

Khalil al-Hayya, head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and leader of the negotiating delegation, announced the reaching of a comprehensive agreement to end the war on Gaza, which includes a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of occupation forces, the opening of the Rafah crossing in both directions, and a prisoner exchange.
