The Wall Street Journal quoted informed sources as saying that Hamas has informed “Israel” it holds 20 Israeli captives alive and is ready to begin releasing them this Sunday evening.
According to the newspaper, the message sent by Hamas through mediators marks the first time the movement has confirmed having this number of captives alive in its custody.
Hamas also informed the mediators and the occupation that it does not know the whereabouts of some of the bodies of deceased captives and that it will face difficulty meeting the 72-hour deadline set by Trump’s plan for handing them over — something confirmed by the occupation’s intelligence services.
The Jerusalem Post revealed that a joint “Egyptian-Qatari-Israeli-American” task force will be formed to locate the remains of unidentified deceased captives.
