The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza called for a rapid response to the entry of essential medical supplies to improve the health and humanitarian situation in the Strip, following the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement.
The ministry warned that the suspension of specialized and diagnostic services would exacerbate the health situation and hinder complex surgical interventions. It stressed the importance of strengthening the remaining operating hospitals in the Strip.
According to the latest statistics from the government office in Gaza, the occupation forces have bombed and destroyed 38 hospitals, 96 healthcare centers, 197 ambulances, and 61 rescue and firefighting vehicles.
