Palestinian prisoner and Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti was brutally assaulted by Israeli repression forces inside occupation prisons in mid-September.
According to media sources, Barghouti lost consciousness due to severe physical assault, during which four of his ribs were broken, while he was being transferred from Ramon Prison to Megiddo Prison.
The occupation refused to release Barghouti as part of the recent prisoner exchange deal.
Barghouti was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to five life terms and 40 additional years on charges of responsibility for resistance operations that led to the killing and injury of Israelis.
