The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that more than 650,000 children in Gaza have been deprived of education for the third consecutive year.
UNRWA emphasized that returning to learning is not only about education, but also about helping children begin to recover from the deep trauma caused by the Israeli war on Gaza, expressing its readiness to support them.
Meanwhile, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated that the war has resulted in the partial or total destruction of 97% of school buildings across the Gaza Strip.
