International Criminal Court Rejects Request to Cancel Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant

The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague has, for the second time, rejected an appeal submitted by "Israel" against the arrest warrants issued for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip.

The court clarified that "Israel is repeating its previous arguments," referring to its first rejected appeal in July 2025, in which it also challenged the court’s jurisdiction.

The ICC had previously rejected an official request from "Israel" in July 2025 to cancel the arrest warrants and suspend the investigation against Netanyahu and Gallant. The request had been submitted on May 9 of the same year.
