The Government Media Office confirmed that since the ceasefire took effect, only 986 humanitarian aid trucks have entered Gaza out of the 6,600 that were supposed to arrive by last night, according to the agreed terms.
In a statement, the office said that the daily average of trucks entering the strip is just 89, while the expected number is 600 per day.
It emphasized that these limited quantities fall far short of meeting even the minimum humanitarian and living needs, stressing that Gaza is in urgent need of a consistent and rapid flow of food, medical supplies, relief aid, fuel, and cooking gas to maintain basic living conditions.
