The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip remains catastrophic, noting that the limited amounts of aid entering the Strip are insufficient to meet the population’s basic needs.

The organization warned that the level of hunger in Gaza is not decreasing due to the severe shortage of food and essential supplies, calling for the urgent and adequate facilitation of humanitarian aid entry to prevent a further humanitarian disaster.
