The Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque and head of the Higher Islamic Council in Jerusalem, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, has warned of an imminent danger threatening Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the ongoing Israeli excavations beneath its courtyards and around its vicinity. These excavations aim to uproot the mosque’s existence and alter its Islamic features and identity.

He pointed out that the occupation authorities are rapidly working to establish an infrastructure designed to undermine the mosque’s foundations and cause severe cracks in its walls and courtyards, as part of a broad Judaization plan seeking to build the alleged Temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
