The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has reaffirmed its ongoing call to maintain the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and urged for the safe access of civilians and humanitarian workers.

Earlier, UNICEF called for safe, rapid, and unimpeded movement of humanitarian aid into Gaza, urging the occupying forces to enable this by immediately opening all border crossings leading into Gaza simultaneously, while also improving and expediting clearance procedures.
