Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed at the beginning of the cabinet meeting that Hamas still has pockets in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu said, "There are still Hamas pockets in the areas under our control in Gaza, and we are systematically eliminating them. There are two pockets in Rafah and Khan Younis, and we will eradicate them."
He added, "The disarmament of Hamas and the disarmament of the Gaza Strip is the principle we are striving for. If this is not achieved one way, it will be done another way, and everyone knows what that second way is and who will implement it," referring to the possible resumption of war.
