An official source at the Petroleum Authority in Gaza confirmed that the occupation forces have been preventing the entry of cooking gas into the Strip for five consecutive days.
Distributor Youssef Abu Samra stated that no gas shipments have arrived, while citizens’ gas cylinders are piled up waiting to be refilled, as the occupation prevents the filling of trucks designated for transporting gas to the Strip without any justification.
The Petroleum Authority reported that the occupation has adopted a new mechanism in which it instructs trucks to head to the crossing and then sends them back empty. The Authority called on all concerned parties and those monitoring the ceasefire agreement to compel the occupation to implement the humanitarian protocol, which stipulates the entry of fuel and gas into Gaza.
