The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned of worsening humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip as winter approaches, amid the ongoing large-scale destruction of infrastructure and housing caused by Israel’s genocidal war on the enclave.
The office stated that hundreds of thousands of families in Gaza face the threat of cold and rain without access to basic means of protection, including shelter, winter clothing, and heating.
It also noted that only 4% of agricultural land in the Strip remains undamaged and accessible, while infrastructure and homes continue to be destroyed on a massive scale.
