Israeli Knesset member and extremist Tzvi Sukkot stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.
A video documented Sukkot entering the hall of the Prophet Isaac’s shrine — an area designated exclusively for Muslims — where he performed Talmudic rituals while keeping his shoes on.
The incursion into the Ibrahimi Mosque comes amid escalating calls by the Israeli far-right to change the current status quo at the site and to impose full shared control, similar to what has happened at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
