Prisoner advocacy organizations accused the occupation of implementing systematic policies targeting detained children through torture, starvation, and enforced disappearance, noting that hundreds of children have been arrested since the start of the Israeli genocide against the Gaza Strip. They reported the death of a child detainee due to starvation, amid shocking testimonies of severe violations inside prisons and military camps.
The Palestinian prisoner organizations confirmed that 1,630 boys and girls from the West Bank have been arrested since the start of the Israeli genocide two years ago, in addition to dozens of children detained from Gaza.
They stated that the Palestinian child has always been among the groups most exposed to Israeli violations—whether through killing, injury, deprivation of education, night raids, or arrests that have affected tens of thousands of minors since the beginning of the occupation.
