The Israeli occupation has launched a large-scale military operation in the Tubas governorate and neighboring towns in the occupied West Bank, deploying heavy reinforcements of military vehicles, alongside extensive raids and home invasions. Several civilian homes were seized and turned into military outposts after families were forced to leave.

Local sources reported that occupation forces blocked roads with earth mounds during their raid on the town of ‘Aqaba, north of Tubas. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society stated that Israeli forces have so far detained 22 residents in the city of Tubas.

The Tubas Governorate announced the suspension of work in all public and private institutions, shifting schools to online learning due to the ongoing military operation in the governorate and its surrounding areas.
