Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that, despite the Cairo and Washington agreement on the need to activate a plan for Gaza’s reconstruction, the approach that this plan will follow remains unclear.
Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tamim Khalaf told the newspaper that Egypt aims to “launch a comprehensive track for Gaza’s reconstruction.”
Since the ceasefire agreement in Gaza came into effect on October 10, two tracks have emerged: one Egyptian and one American, both shaping ideas on the ground regarding the rebuilding of the devastated territory.
