For the second consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continue their incursion into the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, raiding Palestinian homes and carrying out a wide arrest campaign, while imposing a curfew until further notice.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces destroyed infrastructure, cut electricity to several neighborhoods in the town, and prevented Palestinians from entering or leaving. They also turned a school into a military barracks and a center for detention and interrogation. In addition, the forces raided and searched numerous homes, arrested dozens of residents, and conducted on-the-spot field interrogations.
The occupation forces also set fire to an agricultural facility and caused extensive damage to infrastructure during the ongoing assault on Qabatiya. Israeli helicopters opened machine-gun fire in open areas inside the town, while occupation bulldozers began closing internal roads within Qabatiya.
