A number of civilians were injured as a result of Israeli shelling on the Al-Faluja area in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces also shelled several areas across the Strip, including Jabalia and Beit Lahia in the north, and Al-Bureij in central Gaza. Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward the northern neighborhoods of Rafah city in the south, while Israeli artillery targeted the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah.
Meanwhile, the Government Media Office in Gaza stated that “the occupation has committed 969 violations of the ceasefire agreement after 80 days since it came into effect,” noting that these violations resulted in 418 fatalities and 1,141 injuries.
The office added that from October 10, 2025, until December 28, the Israeli army carried out serious and systematic violations of the agreement, constituting a clear breach of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the essence of the ceasefire and the provisions of the humanitarian protocol attached to it.
