The Ministry of Education and Higher Education stated that 7,486 students were killed and 10,557 were injured as a result of the occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank since the beginning of 2025.

The Ministry explained that the number of students killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the year has exceeded 7,448, with 10,130 injured. In the West Bank, 38 students were killed and 327 others were injured, in addition to the arrest of 324 students. It also noted that 415 teachers and administrative staff were killed and 912 injured in Gaza and the West Bank, while more than 48 were arrested in the West Bank.

During its aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupation destroyed 172 public schools, as well as 63 university buildings. The aggression also resulted in the complete removal of a total of 25 schools, along with their students and teachers, from the educational registry.
