Eleven students were injured by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on Birzeit University, north of the city of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that five students were injured by live ammunition, four others were injured by tear gas canisters, and two were injured as a result of falling.
Eyewitnesses said that the forces smashed the university’s main gate, stormed several buildings and faculties, seized equipment belonging to the student movement, detained students, and assaulted journalists while they were covering the events inside the university.
