A new round of search and investigation operations has begun in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, to recover the body of the Israeli captive Ran Guili.

Local sources in the Gaza Strip revealed that fighters from the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades are accompanying teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross while combing specific areas within the Zeitoun neighborhood to locate the body, which is considered the last remaining body of a missing Israeli captive in the Strip.

It is worth noting that Ran Guili was a soldier in the Israeli Border Police, and the Israeli army announced his death during the events of October 7, 2023, stating that his body was being held.
