Dozens of tents were flooded after a new weather depression struck the Gaza Strip. Strong winds and heavy rain caused many tents to be torn down and submerged, worsening the suffering of families facing harsh humanitarian conditions without adequate shelter.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that severe weather conditions in Gaza are exacerbating an already deteriorating humanitarian crisis and could push it into a life-threatening phase for hundreds of thousands, amid a severe shortage of essential aid, especially shelter materials and medicines.
