Palestinians were killed and others injured as the occupation’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip continues. In Khan Younis, south of the Strip, a woman was killed by fire from Israeli military vehicles and others were wounded. A child was also killed after an Israeli “quad-copter” drone dropped a grenade on a school in Beit Lahia in the north of the Strip. Meanwhile, the occupation carried out widespread demolition operations targeting homes in Rafah, in the southern Strip.
Over the past hours, occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes targeting several civilians’ homes, resulting in the killing of seven people and the injury of others in various areas of the Strip. Yesterday, eight Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on two houses in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.
Since the announcement of the ceasefire on October 10, relevant government bodies have recorded 1,244 violations of the agreement, resulting in the killing of 449 Palestinians and the injury of 1,246 others, in addition to 50 cases of unlawful arrest carried out by Israeli occupation forces, according to a statement by the Government Media Office.
