The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Rafah Crossing was opened on Sunday on a trial basis, with the passage of individuals set to begin as of tomorrow.

Israel’s Channel 13 stated that a European Union mission has arrived at the crossing in preparation for its reopening, noting that Israeli soldiers circulated videos showing the EU convoy on its way to the crossing.

The Israeli occupation had announced last week that it would allow a limited number of travelers to leave the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Crossing, following prior coordination with the occupation authorities, in addition to permitting the return of a small number of people stranded abroad, on the condition that they had left during the war.
